Are your children hungry for a different kind of summer experience? This summer, your child can make memories, music, and enough creative summer magic to last a lifetime! Planning is well underway for the second annual arts program offered by First Baptist Church of Cornelia. This experience is for all community children entering first through sixth grade.
It is our belief that all God’s children are a unique creation, divinely created in His image. Looking at the world through the eyes of a child, we see God created our universe as a divine artistic mosaic. Through the various art mediums offered, the camp will nurture the creative ability of each child.
MOSAIC Arts Camp at FBC Cornelia will provide children with the opportunity to develop character, learn valuable life skills, make new friends, discover new interests, and have fun! The accomplished artistic staff, along with youth assistants, is dedicated to creating a memorable experience.
Various arts instruction will be offered. In the past, MOSAIC curriculum included such disciplines as: dance, creative writing, storytelling, drawing, pottery, photography, theatre, vocal ensemble, and guitar. Workshops are co-ed, with approximately 15 children per class. Three age divisions facilitate the needs of each child, allowing the children to work and play with their peers in a challenging, relaxed, and safe setting. Children will select three of their favorite arts disciplines for the week long session. Tuition is $25 and scholarships are available for those who may need them.
